When I think of summer skin, I think of all things fresh, luminous and bronze! By using the right products you can create the ultimate summer glow! Here are my essentials, this is what you'll find in my beauty bag this summer! SKIN PREPHydration is essential for youthful glowing skin. My favourite mask I always reach for when needing an instant pop of hydration is the Go To transformazing sheet mask, drenched with serums and natural botanicals. I don't know how it does it, but the glow it gives is perhaps even better than the glow after having a facial. Yes you read that correctly! Leaving the skin instantly plump and hydrated and majorly glowing. TIP- use the left over serum as a body moisturiser. BODY OILThink of this one as a euro summer in a bottle, this body oil contains just the right amount of shimmer and will have you looking like you've just come back from a Euro vacay and be warned the heavenly scent will have you addicted! Be warned! TIP- Apply a tinted bronze body oil all over your décolletage and arms prior to applying your makeup. Make sure you take the product up your neck and under your jawline so that when you apply foundation it all matches seamlessly! This is going to add extra bronze & an all over summer glow! TINTED MOISTERISERHello SPF 50! We all know how important it is to have SPF in an everyday tinted moisturiser. This product has a no BS coverage, while its light weight, it offers a whole heap of sun protection and a whole lot of coverage. This product is full of anti-aging ingredients including collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants. What more could you want in a product! BLUSHCream blush has summer written all over it, with or without makeup, adding a pop of blush gives you a flush of colour to completely lift your complexion. My current pick is the Mecca Cosmetica hydra cheek tint duo. The texture of this blush is so creamy, while the luminising balm adds a lit from within glow. TIP- for best results use to warmth of your fingers to apply the cream blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending upwards and outwards. A little goes a long way with this one. Then add the luminising balm to the high points of your face including the tops of your cheekbones, centre of your nose and cupids bow. BRONZESun-kissed skin is my favourite, but I will admit bronzer can be a tricky one. I've tried many many bronzers and most are too orangey, shimmery, matte or muddy. I love cream and powder bronzers but one I've always reached for is the Hourglass ambient lighting bronzer. It adds just the right amount of warmth and gives an instant sun-kissed look to the skin. Tip- apply it with a big fluffy brush where the sun natural hits: across the cheekbones, temples and a little dust across the nose.
